Our Department recently purchased a new engine. This is a 1991 Pierce Lance Custom that we received from the Treasure Lake Fire Company (Department) in Pennsylvania. When we recieved this engine it was yellow, we had it painted to match our other engines.

Three of our fire department personnel flew to Pennsylvania to look over the apparatus. After spending 5 or so hours pumping, driving, and combing over the truck we felt it was a good fit for our department. We contacted Chief Oxford who had a conference call with the Board of Directors. 2 hours later we had made an offer that had been accepted.
It has seats for 6, something that our department has never had in an engine, a 1250 gallon per minute pump, and 3000 gallons of water. It will carry all of the equipment, personnel, and water we need to assist another department and will back up our first 2 engines in our primary area as water supply.
